Professional development coaching

Zest at work coaching is a one-to-one confidential service. Our coach helps clients identify goals clearly and together the client and coach form a coaching relationship to support, encourage and further personal development and growth.

Coaching is suitable for everyone but is particularly relevant for those seeking a new challenge, newly appointed managers, top team, strategic planners, as well as anyone seeking to develop their leadership toolkit or further their personal development.

From a business perspective, coaching improves team efficiency, promotes team morale and unlocks group potential. Your coach can help instil a culture of sustainable learning, effective communication and increased capacity to change and deal with adversity.

Sessions are typically 60/90 mins in length and are one to one, currently conducted via Zoom. At the beginning of the coaching relationship, your coach will address goal setting, look at strengths, values and growth opportunities. 4+ sessions are recommended for each participant and may be spaced out over a number of weeks or months. Prior to committing to a client, your coach will complete a 20 minute ‘chemistry session’ free of charge in order to confirm that we are the right fit for you.

The benefits of coaching

  • See yourself more clearly: True self awareness in leaders and managers directly relates to organisation success and effectiveness. Your coach will help you question assumptions about yourself and to curiously uncover your authentic self. See your strengths and values clearly and use them to move forward.
  • See others more clearly: Learn to better support and engage with your co-workers and team members. Your coach can share an external view of the situation and help you shed light on challenging relationships as well as helping you to recognise the capabilities, strengths and development members in others.
  • Learn new ways to respond and react: The habits, capabilities, and reactions you have may have served you so far, but will they be enough to take you to the next level. Learn to develop your leadership toolkit, shift your mindset and practice healthy and sustainable behaviours. Coaching is perfect for those preparing to take the next step in their career and to help identify and address potential skill gaps.
  • Leverage your strengths: Your coach can help you clearly identify your strengths and capabilities. They will help you understand the uniqueness and value you bring and use your innate strengths to grow and develop yourself further.
  • Build more productive relationships: Your coach will help you question the assumptions and beliefs you have about others, helping you create strong and vital working relationships with a variety of people.
  • Achieve your goals: Your coach will help you identify your goals and together you’ll work towards making them your new reality step by step. They support you on your journey and champion you all the way to the finish line.
